- 1st in the Gulf South to use the new FDA-approved Esprit™ BTK (Below the Knee) Everolimus Eluting Resorbable Scaffold System. Dr. Pradeep Nair used this first-of-its-kind dissolvable stent to treat chronic limb-threatening ischemia in the lower legs in a procedure performed in May 2024.
- 1st in the country to use the new Aperta NSE™ PTA Balloon to treat vascular disease in the legs. Dr. Matthew Finn performed the procedure in May 2024 at a CIS Ambulatory Surgery Center using this cutting-edge device.
