Gary M. Kirsh, MD

Chairman

Dr. Gary M. Kirsh serves as chairman of the board of directors for Cardiovascular Logistics (CVL), supporting the platform’s physician-led governance model and advising executive leadership on long-term strategy and sustainable growth. Dr. Kirsh leads the board of directors, collaborates with and advises the executive management team, and helps set the strategic direction of the company. A nationally recognized physician-executive and healthcare entrepreneur, he brings more than 30 years of experience advancing independent, physician-led specialty care at scale.

Dr. Kirsh served as president of The Urology Group in Cincinnati beginning in 2009, and as CEO of Solaris Health, founded in 2020. Under his leadership, Solaris grew from two practices to 18 across 14 states, becoming the nation’s largest independent urology platform. Dr. Kirsh led enterprise-wide operational integration, service-line expansion, and a successful sale to a Fortune 15 company.

A longtime advocate for independent medicine, Dr. Kirsh has held numerous national leadership roles, including past chairman of UROPAC and past president of the American Association of Clinical Urologists, the North Central Section of the American Urological Association, and the Ohio Urologic Society. He was instrumental in founding the Large Urology Group Practice Association (LUGPA) and continues to serve as chairman of its Political Affairs committee. Dr. Kirsh earned his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and completed his urology residency at Case Western Reserve University.
