Crystal Carter, MBA

Crystal Carter serves as a senior M&A analyst on the business development team at CVL, assisting the board of directors in evaluating potential partner practices for fit with our platform. Crystal reviews the key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial statements of prospective practices, uses financial modeling and other techniques to assess each practice’s value, and assists throughout the due diligence process to bring the transaction to a successful close.

Prior to joining CVL, Crystal was a senior financial analyst with the Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS), now a CVL partner practice. In this role, she performed financial modeling, developed pro formas, participated in the annual budgeting process, and developed KPI reports and dashboards that enabled informed decision-making. She possesses deep experience in cardiology-related financial analytics and pro forma modeling.

Crystal holds a Bachelor of Science in finance and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Nicholls State University, where she was named outstanding finance graduate and outstanding accounting graduate and was subsequently inducted into the university’s Hall of Fame. She recently earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
