Charles McRae, MBA, NACD.DC

As CVL’s chief operating officer (COO), Charles McRae oversees the platform’s operational infrastructure and integration across its national network, aligning operations, enhancing efficiency, and supporting physician partners in advancing CVL’s mission to provide patients with the highest quality cardiovascular care available.

Charles brings more than two decades of experience leading large healthcare organizations through growth, integration, and operational transformation. Before joining CVL, he served as president of the anesthesiology business unit at Envision Healthcare and held senior leadership roles with Radiology Partners and Columbus Radiology Corporation, where he strengthened multi-state operations, physician practice management, and governance.

A former NFL offensive tackle for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Oakland Raiders, Charles earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee and developed a leadership approach grounded in teamwork, transparency, and accountability. He is Directorship Certified® by the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD.DC) and is committed to open communication, data-driven transparency, and shared success across the CVL platform.
