Cardiovascular Logistics (CVL) partners with top-tier practices committed to transforming cardiovascular care through clinical excellence, innovation, and education. As part of that commitment, we offer physician fellowships at two of our leading practices: Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) and First Coast Cardiovascular Institute (FCCI). These intensive one-year fellowships provide dedicated, focused hands-on experience and mentorship from nationally recognized vascular experts.

Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) building
Dr. McCall Walker

“I felt I needed dedicated training in this field in order to emerge as a future top peripheral operator and not simply a cardiologist with an interest in peripheral disease. Cardiology training rarely invests significant time to the study of peripheral vascular disease. While honing peripheral skills on my own over the next several years was an option, I could not pass up the opportunity to train with one of the world’s top peripheral vascular experts.”

– Dr. McCall Walker, CIS Fellow

First Coast Cardiovascular Institute (FCCI)
Dr. Imran Farooq

“My endovascular fellowship year this year has been amazing. My passion to learn more about peripheral arterial and venous disease lead me to FCCI to learn from true vascular interventional experts. I have had the opportunity to work with very talented physicians in the cath lab learning how to treat patients from, claudication to severe limb threatening ischemia, renal, mesenteric, carotid, deep vein and AAA interventions. After completely indulging myself in such a high-volume practice dealing with all aspects of vascular medicine and vascular interventions, I feel very confident that I will be able to provide the highest quality of care to my patients with a very diverse and unique skill set as a interventionist trained amongst limb salvage and vascular medicine experts.”
